Lamar Creative Co. carries forward a legacy of creativity, resilience, and love. Inspired by my parents’ belief that creativity builds connection—and by my grandmother Judy Lamar’s deep compassion—this work is not just professional, it’s personal.

My journey began with the story of my grandmother and her sisters, who entered South Carolina’s foster care system while their brothers remained with their biological family. Their resilience shaped my belief that everyone—regardless of gender, race, or background—deserves love, opportunity, and belonging. That belief drives everything we do at Lamar Creative Co.
I founded this business in September 2022 while expecting my second child and searching for a better way to balance my work, creativity, and family. I knew something had to change the day I kissed my husband and toddler goodbye at the beach and drove back to the office. No job is worth missing the moments that make a life.
What started as a leap of faith has grown into a creative studio rooted in empathy, storytelling, and the courage to reimagine what’s possible. While our early work included events and strategy, we’ve since evolved into a brand storytelling firm focused on helping you connect with the right people through the right message.
At its core, Lamar Creative Co. is about more than just words—it’s about building trust and human connection. As a writer, strategist, founder, wife, and (most importantly) mom to kids, I bring intention and joy to every story I help tell.
